Seneca’s Community Treatment Facilities support teen-agers in making that difficult transition, involving families in the treatment effort and keeping young people where they belong — in their communities. Our treatment model is not a medical model, but a relationship-based, social model.
The primary forum for psychological work in the program is Circle, a form of group therapy conducted for two hours, four times each week. Most importantly, we provide teens with safety and stability through a carefully applied behavioral milieu, allowing them to enjoy special moments such as their first prom aboard a yacht, singing songs around a blazing campfire, and flying through Space Mountain at Disneyland.
