Our special education services, which typically are integrated with mental health day treatment services, help students to accelerate their academic progress and develop the skills needed to successfully mainstream back into a public school setting.
In addition to basic core subjects such as reading, math, language skills and science, students participate in educational activities such as researching and debating current issues, researching topics of personal interest at local libraries, and developing and practicing independent living skills.
Multi-cultural curriculum units and classroom activities provide each student with opportunities to celebrate his or her own culture, as well as those of other ethnic groups.
